Travel...It's Not Just for Humans, Anymore

Packed everything but the kitchen sink, even the dog.

Aching for a good road trip? Worried about what to do with your pup when you travel?

You can have the best of both worlds and take your dog along for the ride. Increasingly, the travel industry is embracing furry guest, realizing that people spend more and even stay longer to include their furry friend in their adventures.

This is Sadie - a 6 yr old Maltipom (Maltese Pomeranian...aka Super Cute Mutt). She would rather travel than sit at home waiting for her my return. She's traveled to Key West, FL, Savannah, GA, New Orleans, LA, Austin, TX and the Smoky Mountains, just to name a few trips. This is a road tripping pooch ready for an adventure.

But is traveling with a dog even possible? Traveling with pups isn't for everyone. And traveling with cats isn't for most. Some pooches (and most cats) would rather stay home. But if you're game, and the dog's in, let's put on the Doggles, hang out the window and explore the options.
